More Than Screen Sharing

We’re building a new way to share game sessions, letting up to four people join with their own controllers or keyboards for real multiplayer interaction.

Playing together should feel real

A lot of platforms let you share your screen, but that is usually where the experience ends. Someone else can watch, but they are not really part of the session.

We want to make that better.

That is why we are adding a feature that lets users share their session with up to four people, with each person able to join using their own controller or keyboard. The idea is simple: shared play should feel like actual participation, not passive viewing.

Not just watching

This is not just screen sharing.

When someone joins a shared session, they are not there only to look at the game. They can interact. They can play. They can use their own input device and become part of the session itself.

That changes the experience completely. It makes shared gaming feel more social, more active, and much closer to sitting together in the same room.

Built for co-play

Some games are better when people can jump in together instantly. Sometimes that means local co-op, party games, testing something with friends, or simply handing over control without breaking the session.

By supporting up to four people with their own controllers or keyboards, we are making that kind of experience much easier. One session can become a shared space instead of a one-person stream.

Why it matters

Cloud gaming should not only make games easier to access. It should also make them easier to share.

This feature opens the door to a more connected kind of play, where joining a friend’s session feels natural and interactive from the start. Instead of sending a stream for others to watch, users can invite others into the game experience itself.

Closing thought

We think shared sessions should mean more than broadcasting gameplay.

By letting up to four people join with their own controllers and keyboards, we are building something that feels more like real multiplayer and less like simple screen sharing. It is a small shift in concept, but it changes a lot about how people can play together.
